Between mountains 🌄 and rivers this beautiful place 😍 is considered a biosphere reserve in the westernmost part of the country, located in the limits of the Sierra del Rosario about 70 km west of Pinar del Rio. 🌲
This region owes its name to the Spanish brothers 👱👱 Lorenzo and Antonio Soroa Muñagorri who owned several coffee plantations in the area of which still some ruins are conserved today.
The jump of the Manantiales river, preferred by Cuban and foreign bathers 🏊 for its fresh and crystalline waters, is one of the marvels of our geography and reaches 22 meters in height.
The area also has a viewpoint 👀 and an Orchid.👍
From the viewpoint, 250 meters above sea level, you can enjoy the best views of the Sierra del Rosario. 😍
The Orchid was created in the 40s by Tomás Felipe Camacho in homage to his daughter 👩 and especially his wife 💑 who had a predilection for this exotic plant🌱

Esta región debe su nombre a los hermanos 👱👱 españoles, Lorenzo y Antonio Soroa Muñagorri quienes eran dueños de varios cafetales en la zona de los cuales aún hoy se conservan algunas ruinas.
El salto del rio Manantiales , sitio preferido por bañistas cubanos y foráneos 🏊 por sus aguas frescas y cristalinas, es unas de las maravillas de nuestra geografía y llega a alcanzar los 22 metros de altura.
La zona también cuenta con un mirador 👀 y un Orquideario. 👍
Desde el mirador, a 250 metros sobre el nivel del mar, se disfruta de las mejores vistas de la Sierra del Rosario. 😍
El Orquideario fue creado en los años 40 por Tomás Felipe Camacho en homenaje a su hija 👩 y en especial a su esposa 💑 quien tenía predilección por esta exótica planta.🌱
