We Cubans feel proud of our natural richness that illustrate the geography of the country of many shades. We do not just enjoy the sun 🌞 and the beaches. The semi-continental 🌎 and humid climate provides an incalculable natural variety which allows direct contact with the environment and keeps very special memories.
Our nature is composed of mountainous 🌄 ecosystems, coastal, caves, valleys 🌲🌴, plains, mogotes, and swamps.
One of the potentialities in this modality is birdwatching 🐦 throughout the island. Cuba is home to many birds 🐥🐦 species of which a considerable percentage are endemic, while in the winter migratory species visit us looking for shelter in the heat of the Caribbean. In the central region, we highlight the Gran Humedal of the North of Ciego de Avila, which includes the coastal dams Laguna de La Leche and Laguna La Redonda where populations of pink flamingos inhabit.
For lovers of diving, a diverse world lives under this warm sea 🐢 🐟 that constitutes a privileged seabed, you will be surprised by the reefs full of bright fish 🐠 , coral gardens where live among other, species of crustaceans and mollusks 🐙, sponges and more. You can also enjoy a variety of fauna 🐢 and flora species 🌴 as well as remnants of fleets of yesteryear that we find in the charm of the depths.
Practicing sports fishing 🐡, visiting the crocodile 🐊 village in the Cienàga de Zapata, doing mountaineering, riding 🐴 through its valleys finding the farms of farmers, as well as so many attractions of our biological diversity, make Cuba a must for lovers of nature.

Los cubanos sentimos orgullo por nuestras riquezas naturales que ilustran la geografía del país de muchas tonalidades. No solamente disfrutamos del sol 🌞 y las playas . El clima semicontinental 🌎 y húmedo proporciona una incalculable variedad natural que posibilita entrar en contacto directo con el medio ambiente y guardar memorias muy particulares.
Nuestra naturaleza está compuesta por ecosistemas montañosos 🌄, costeros, cuevas, valles 🌲🌴, llanuras, mogotes y ciénagas.
Una de las potencialidades en esta modalidad es la observación de aves 🐦 a largo y ancho de la isla. Cuba alberga múltiples especies de aves 🐥🐦 de las cuales un considerable por ciento son endémicas mientras que en el invierno nos visitan especies migratorias en busca de abrigo en el calor del Caribe. En la región central destacamos el Gran Humedal del Norte de Ciego de Avila el cual comprende las represas costeras Laguna de La Leche y Laguna La Redonda donde habitan poblaciones de flamencos rosados.
Para los amantes del buceo y del submarinismo, un diverso mundo vive bajo este cálido mar 🐢 🐟 que constituye un fondo marino privilegiado, quedará sorprendido por los arrecifes llenos de peces brillantes 🐠, jardines de coral donde habitan entre otras especies de crustáceos y moluscos 🐙, esponjas y más. También podrá disfrutar de una gran variedad de especies de la fauna 🐢 y la flora 🌴 así como restos de flotas de antaño que encontramos en el encanto de las profundidades.
