馃憠 Holidays in Cuba? Ground transportation 馃殾
In Cuba you will find several kinds of transport, among them, we have urban buses 馃殟, these are usually difficult to approach in the schedules of entry and exit of the work centers which encourages us to take collective taxis 馃殫 at modest prices or a private one.
☆ Coco Taxis is another option appreciated by those who visit us, they are tricycles covered with an open spherical structure on the front, it is fun and give you the possibility to enjoy a panoramic view along the way.
☆ Havana BusTur: tour the tourist areas of the city
☆ Horse-drawn cars: excellent for a nice ride!
☆ Bicycles: can be hired in small private businesses.
☆ Bicitaxi: made by craftsmen built under the principle of the bicycle, it is used for short stretches.
☆ Car rental: There are several state agencies for the car rental such as Rex, Havanautos, Cubacar, they are rented by tourism mostly.
☆ Airport taxi´s service: those authorized for this service are known as yellow taxis 馃殨
☆ Interprovincial bus: You can travel by "Viazul", it is the bus line recommended for its seriousness, comfort, and good prices. It must be reserved in advance.
馃槻 What to do if there is no availability in the Viazul buses, very simple! 馃榾 The Island has a private system of collective taxis 馃殭 that are coordinated in the city where you are for the next destination.
Of course, we cannot stop commenting on the railway system which has not been able to achieve quality and we are working on reviving it. Because of its historical character, we mention the Hershey Train, the only electric train 馃殝 in Cuba, a relic built a century ago. This museum train leaves from the neighborhood of Casa Blanca in Havana and ends in Matanzas with a duration of almost four hours, as you might guess ... sometimes it has been left in the middle of the road.

En Cuba encontrar谩s varios medios de transporte, entre ellos tenemos los autobuses urbanos 馃殟, estos suelen ser dif铆ciles de abordar en los horarios de entrada y salida de los centros laborales lo que nos anima a tomar taxis colectivos 馃殫 a precios m贸dicos o taxis privados.
☆ Coco Taxis es otra opci贸n apreciada por quienes nos visitan, se tratan de triciclos cubiertos de una estructura esf茅rica abierta en su parte frontal, es divertido y dan la posibilidad de disfrutar una vista panor谩mica a lo largo del trayecto.
☆ Habana BusTur: hace un recorrido por las zonas tur铆stica de la ciudad
☆ Coches tirados por caballos: excelentes para un agradable paseo!
☆ Bicicletas: pueden ser contratadas en peque帽os negocios particulares.
☆ Bicitaxis: de fabricaci贸n artesanal construidos bajo el principio de la bicicleta, se utiliza para tramos cortos.
☆ Alquiler de autos: Existen varias agencias estatales para la renta de autos tales como Rex, Havanautos, Cubacar, son rentados por el turismo mayoritariamente.
☆ Servicio de taxi desde aeropuerto: Los autorizados para este servicio son los llamados taxis amarillos
☆ Omnibus interprovinciales: Puede viajar por “Viazul”, es la l铆nea de buses recomendada por su seriedad, confort y precios m貌dicos. Se debe reservar con anticipaci贸n.
馃槻 Qu茅 hacer si no hay disponibilidad en los 贸mnibus Viazul?, muy sencillo!, 馃榾 la Isla cuenta con un sistema privado de taxis colectivos 馃殭 que se coordinan en la ciudad donde te encuentres para el pr贸ximo destino.
Por supuesto no podemos dejar de comentar sobre el sistema ferroviario el cual no ha podido alcanzar calidad y se trabaja en reanimar el mismo. Por su car谩cter hist贸rico hacemos menci贸n al Tren de Hershey, el 煤nico tren el茅ctrico 馃殝 en Cuba, reliquia construida hace un siglo. Este tren museo sale del barrio de Casa Blanca en La Habana y termina viaje en Matanzas con una duraci贸n de casi cuatro horas, como es de suponer…en ocasiones se ha quedado en medio del camino.
