"La Lanchita"
is a popular ferry ⛴ that departs from Emboque de Luz a port in Havana. The ferry
has departures everyday to the towns of Regla and Casa Blanca. They are located
on the other side of the bay. The journey takes only a few minutes and they commence
in the early hours 🌇 of the morning, and continue until midnight. 🌃

More than 200 years
ago, the population used rowboats 🚣 and sailboats ⛵ to transport travelers, and merchandize
to the other side of Havana bay.
If you are visiting the
city one must not miss this experience. It is far cry from the cuban hussle and
bussle of regular transport. The boat offers beautiful scenery, the sound of
the sea, and the breeze of the bay. It will make your trip unforgettable. It is
a cuban tradition to throw a coin in the sea and make a wish to La Virgen de
Regla which is bay´s patroness.

“La Lanchita” es un popular medio de transporte marítimo ⛴ que sale desde el Emboque de Luz de la capital habanera y comunica la ciudad con los poblados de Regla y Casa Blanca situados a
otro lado de la bahía 🌅. Convertida en una reducida flota, la travesía dura unos minutos y comienza a dar
servicio desde horas muy tempranas de la mañana 🌇 hasta las doce de la noche 🌃.

Hace más de 200 años eran
utilizados botes de remos 🚣 y de vela ⛵ para transportar viajeros o mercancías de un lado al otro de
la bahía 🌅 de La Habana con su mar coloreado de diferentes tonalidades de azul,
unas veces tranquilo y otras algo crispado.
Si estás de visita en ciudad
no te pierdas esta experiencia en medio de nacionales con apresurado andar, la
belleza del paisaje, el sonido de las olas y la brisa de la bahía harán que
este paseo sea inolvidable. Es tradición dejar caer una moneda en medio del mar
pidiendo los más profundos deseos a la Virgen de Regla, patrona de la bahía 🌅.
